The Best Apps for Promoting Better Mental Health and Self-Care
I am excited to share some of my favorite self-care and mental health apps with you today. These apps have been game-changing for me and I hope they will be for you too.
1. Insight Timer

Insight Timer is my all-time favorite app for meditation and mindfulness. It offers countless guided meditations and an endless selection of relaxing music. One of my favorite features is the customizable timer, which lets you add bells and soundscapes to support your practice.
There’s also a paid version available, and if it’s within your budget, I highly recommend it. The upgrade gives you access to premium content and hundreds of courses on topics like mindfulness, chakra healing, connecting with spirit guides, and so much more.
2. Finch

The Finch app motivates you to practice self-care and complete tasks by using a virtual pet as motivation. Think of it as a to-do list Tamagotchi. You are rewarded with points as you complete tasks on your list which can be spent on clothing, accessories, and furniture for your Finch.
Additionally, Finch offers mental health support including guided meditations, journaling prompts, and mood tracking.
3. Zenfulnote

Zenfulnote is an app that was designed for self-discovery and growth. This app is loaded with helpful tools for mental health. It features tons of shadow work journaling prompts.
You can also use the app to track moods, triggers, and glimmers. On top of that, the app has a library of meditations, mindfulness exercises, shadow work games, quotes & affirmations, and calming music tracks.
